Abstract
Razvojem tržišta osiguranja dolazi do razvoja strategija poslovanja u osiguravajućim društvima. Sve veća konkurencija postavlja pred osiguravajuća društva sve veće izazove. Euroherc osiguranje d.d. kao vodeće osiguravajuće društvo neživotnog osiguranja, 2015. godine odlučilo je proširiti svoje poslovanje na tržište Europske unije odabravši Austriju kao potencijalno tržište rasta. Kako bi dodatno ojačalo svoju tržišnu poziciju i na tržištu EU, Euroherc osiguranje d.d. odlučilo se 2015. godine na ulazak na austrijsko tržište. Odabir ovog tržišta povezan je sa samom strukturom tržišta, činjenicom da u Austriji živi i radi puno ljudi iz Hrvatske i BiH te poznatost konkurencije koja je prisutna i na hrvatskom tržištu. S druge strane Austrija je jedna od najstabilnijih politički-ekonomskih država Europe s visokom kupovnom moći i stabilnim BDP-om, niskom razinom korupcije i kriminala s tržištem koje je otvoreno konkurentskom poslovanju. Fokusiran pristup omogućio je brzu diferencijaciju kao osiguravajućem društvu koje pruža brzu i kvalitetnu uslugu iz područja autoosiguranja. S druge strane, snažna konkurencija koja je prisutna na austrijskom tržištu tradicionalno je kod klijenata stvorila lojalnost za pojedine kategorije osiguranja (životna, imovina) što bi za Euroherc osiguranje d.d. bio veliki ulagački zahvat s malim povratom novca. Pokazalo se da je odabir strategije bio dobar jer Euroherc osiguranje d.d. u 2020. godine ostvaruje rast.
Abstract (english)
The development of the insurance market leads to the development of business strategies in insurance companies. Increasing competition poses increasing challenges to insurance companies. In 2015, Euroherc osiguranje, as the leading non-life insurance company, decided to expand its business to the European Union market, choosing Austria as a potential growth market. In order to further strengthen its market position in the EU market, Euroherc osiguranje decided in 2015 to enter the Austrian market. The choice of this market is related to the structure of the market, the fact that many people from Croatia and BiH live and work in Austria, and the knowledge of competition that is present in the Croatian market. On the other hand, Austria is one of the most stable political and economic countries in Europe with high purchasing power and stable GDP, low levels of corruption and crime, and a market that is open to competitive business. A focused approach has enabled them to quickly differentiate themselves as an insurance company that provide fast and quality service in the field of car insurance. On the other hand, the strong competition present in the Austrian market has traditionally created customer loyalty for certain categories of insurance (life, property), which would be a large investment project with a small return on Euroherc. The choice of strategy turned out to be good because Euroherc osiguranje is growing in 2020.
