Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
The main determinants of this artistic project would be curiosity and experiment. Idea of this final work is creating space installations wich without light become pointless and interrogating light installations and contemporary art practice conceptual and experimental direction. The light is used as a media in contemporary art practice, and it is a key element of this work. Using one source of artificial light creates a clear view of the character. Controlled source of light passing through the installation creates a shadow or imaginary space that was created by subtracting light. Through a number of different installations, the shadows would represent the shape and form of Kresimir Cosic, respectively his character. The main motive of the poster is a portrait of a man in space, man as a part of the community. The main goal is to create a stable relations between character and background, so character Kresimir Cosic can interpreted as clear as possible. Through a combination of lines modeled surfaces and forms we can identify the main objects. Installations will function in a way a positive negative space that make relations surfaces that create an object and the background to the two-dimensional surface. If we look at light as the point of origin, the shadow becomes final area event, place of the end or new construction.
