Abstract
Time-Lapse ("time" - vrijeme, "lapse" - protjecanje) je fotografska tehnika kojom ubrzavamo procese manipulacijom vremena.

Parallel abstract (English)
Time-lapse photography is a technique that accelerates processes by manipulating time. Human cognitive abilities are such that it can easily experience some kind of movement in the area in which it is located in real-time frame of reference. Human eye can’t perceive some kind of change or movement of a slow moving object because it is not able to mentally compare one stage to another in a large period of time. Using Time-lapse technique we can accelerate certain processes (movements) that in normal conditions we are not able to experience. This paper will cover the very notion of time-lapse technique, its rules, specifics of recording and production. Through a brief chronological overview I will indicate the specific features of this technique and its distinction in relation to the classic video recording. Knowledge of the perception of the human visual system, the very perception and cognitive abilities of man is inevitable for a clearer understanding of the phenomenon of the moving image. This paper will explain possibility of human perception of motion, as well as the technical knowledge required to produce a time-lapse video. You will see a brief overview of the necessary equipment to perform time-lapse techniques and mark the basic lines of division in time-lapse techniques based on a variety of photographic techniques. Practical part of the paper will explain the process of making the final video with all the specifics of production, from shooting, visual and semantic aspects of the work, to post-production and technical knowledge required to create time-lapse sequences.
