Abstract

Day by day mobile technology continues to advance and takes over the leading role in private and business environment. Internet, with its many options as watching videos, listening to music, playing video games, reading news and various articles, possibility to have a video call in any part of the world and developing online shopping, has connected the world and brought many advantages in today's society. By developing mobile shopping applications, customers have available different applications that provide easier and faster way to shop. Purchasing goods (shopping) using mobile devices has many advantages like convenience, accessibility, simpler connectivity, effectiveness, securing a wider range of products/services and practicality. Disadvantages of shopping using mobile devices are technical limitations of mobile devices, limited use of graphics, small interfaces, lower functionality of mobile devices compared to portable or desktop devices, as well as secure data transmission. For this paper research has been conducted to determine if today's customers shop more in a classic way by going to the store or using mobile technology and online shops. A research is based on online survey designed to get answers on questions related to customers' habits, tendencies and behaviour while using mobile devices in a shopping process.
