Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je sagledati aspekte bavljenja gospodarskih subjekata društveno odgovornim poslovanjem, odnosno koja je točno njihova temeljna svrha – etično poslovanje ili samo jedna od marketinških aktivnosti koja se provodi radi ostvarivanja veće dobiti. U uvodnom dijelu predstavljen je predmet i svrha istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada i ukratko opisana njegova struktura. U drugom dijelu fokus je stavljen na pojam koncepta društveno odgovornog poslovanja te kakav utjecaj ono može imati na samo poduzeće, potrošače, zajednicu i okoliš. U ovom dijelu rada također će biti riječi o etičkim načelima društveno odgovornog poslovanja. U trećem dijelu razmatra se pojam marketinga i etičnost u tom području. U četvrtom dijelu analizira se društveno odgovorno poslovanje poduzeća DM – Drogerie Markt Hrvatska koje posluje u Hrvatskoj te učinci koje ostvaruje takvim poslovanjem. U završnom dijelu napravljen je osvrt na temeljne zaključke izvedene iz iznesenih činjenica nakon obrade teme.

The aim of this thesis is to look at aspects of dealing with companies by corporate social responsibility, that is, what is exactly their fundamental purpose - ethical business or just one of the marketing activities that is realized in order to achieve greater profits. The introductory part presents the object and purpose of the research of this thesis and also briefly describes its structure. In the second part the focus is on the concept of corporate social responsibility, and what impact it may have on the company itself, consumers, community and the environment. In this part of the thesis the ethical principles of corporate social responsibility will also be addressed. The third part deals with the concept of marketing and ethics in that domain. The fourth part analyzes the corporate social responsibility of company DM - Drogerie Markt Croatia which operates in Croatia and the effects achieved by such management. In the final section there is a review of the fundamental conclusions drawn from the facts presented after analyzing the topic.
