Abstract
Sloboda govora temeljno je pravo svakog čovjeka. To pravo podrazumijeva traženje, primanje i širenje informacija i ideja svake vrste. No, što kada netko odluči zloupotrijebiti svoje pravo i prijeđe granicu slobode izražavanja? Rezultat je govor mržnje. Govor za koji ne postoji dosljedna definicija, a koji potiče na mržnju i osuđuje rasnu, vjersku, nacionalnu, spolnu, etničku i svaku drugu različitost. Govor kojemu su nove platforme masovnog komuniciranja – društvene mreže, širom otvorile vrata. Društvene mreže poput Facebooka, Twittera i YouTubea postale su odlagalište poruka zaraženih mržnjom. Danas, kada možete biti bilo tko, a istovremeno nitko, govor mržnje je učestaliji nego ikada prije. Za potrebe ovog završnog rada provedeno je istraživanje koje ima za cilj ispitati mišljenje građana o govoru mržnje na društvenim mrežama, a u radu ćemo se baviti i štetnim posljedicama koje govor mržnje prouzrokuje.
Abstract (english)
Freedom of speech is the fundamental right of every man. This right implies seeking, receiving and disseminating information and ideas of every kind. But what if someone decides to abuse their rights and cross the border of freedom of expression? The result is hate speech. A speech that transcends any boundary of freedom of expression. A speech for which there is no consistent definition. A hate speech that condemns racial, religious, national, gender, ethnic and any other diversity. Speech to which new platforms of mass communication - social networks, opened wide doors wide. Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have become a landfill site of hate speech. Today the hate speech is more frequent than ever before. For the purpose of this final work, research has been carried out to examine citizens' opinion on hate speech on social networks, and we will also deal with the damaging consequences of hate speech.
