Abstract
Teorijski dio rada bavi se vizualnim jezikom stripa i njegovom definicijom. Opisana je forma stripa te se stripu pristupa kao susatavu sastavljom od vidljivih elemenata kao što su kadrovi,crtež i slova i nevidljivih kao što su vrijeme i čitateljeva imaginacija. Također se dodirujemo povijesti stripa i njegova razvoja ne samo kroz vrijeme nego i kroz različite kulture, od zapadnog preko istočnog do hrvatskog stripa. Praktični dio bavi se analizom stripa „Deadly sins and four other things.“ i metodologijom njegove izrade. Posebnu pažnju poklonio sam odnosu imeđu upotrebe istočnih i zapadnih elemenata stripa i određenim odlukama koje sam donio o upotrebi ovih elemenata kako bi se postigao posebni odnos odnosno izraz koji sam želio kreirati u svom stripu. Opisani su i neki osobni stavovi pri pristupanju problemima koji se javljaju u određenim kadrovima i njihova solucija te analiza kadrova koje smatram da su za cijelinu stripa od posebnog značaja.
Abstract (english)
The theoretical part of work deals with the visual language of comics and its definition. The form of comics is described and comics are approached as systems of visible elements such as frames, drawings and letters, and invisible elements such as time and reader's imagination . We also touch on the topicof the history of comics and its development not only though time but also across different cultures , from the west , east and Croatian comics. The practical part deals with the analysis of the comic book " Deadly Sins and four other things. " and the methodology of its making. Special attention is given to the relationship between the use of eastern and western elements of comics and certain decisions I made on usage of these elements to achieve a special relationship, and form I wanted to create in my comic. Described are some personal views on dealing with problems that appear in certain panels and their solution as well as the analysis of panels that i found of greater importance to the comic as awhole.
