In this final paper will be presented the method of protection of the construction pit of the sports hall in Zlatar Bistrica with micropiles and a steel connecting beam. The final paper is divided into six chapters where the topic is discussed in more details. The second chapter describes the protection of the construction pit and the types of supporting structures with an emphasis on the micropiles used to protect the construction pit of the sports hall. The water in the construction pit is also treated in more detail because it can be the cause of unwanted and unfavorable situations during the execution of works and thus can affect the further course of construction. The third chapter describes the geotechnical exploration works carried out at the subject site in order to collect data on the characteristics and type of soil for the main project of protection of the construction pit. The results of the same are also described. The fourth chapter presents the static calculation of the supporting structure for the construction pit of the sports hall in Zlatar Bistrica. The calculation for dimensioning of anchors, micropiles and steel anchor beams are presented. The fifth chapter presents the manner and course of construction protection of the construction pit at the subject location.
