Abstract
Fizioterapijska rehabilitacija je ključni i objedunjujući dio tretmana pacijenata sa opeklinama. Rehabilitacija započinje od primitka u zdravstvenu ustanovu te završava mjesecima, a nekada i godinama nakon početka terapije odnosno traje do potpunog vraćanja u aktivnosti svakodnevnog života. Za rehabilitaciju opeklina potreban je multidisciplinaran tim stručnjaka koji će pacijentu pružiti tretmane sa fizičkog, psihološkog i socijalnog aspekta. S obzirom da opekline pacijentima mogu ostaviti značajne kontrakture i ožiljke koje posljedično dovode do teške neosposobljenosti, od velike je važnosti provesti ranu, individualiziranu i kontinuiranu rehabilitaciju. Cilj rehabilitacije pacijenata s opeklinama je umanjiti pojavu ožiljaka, kontraktura i sekundarnih posljedica, povećati funkcionalne sposobnosti pacijenta te ubrzati oporavak pacijenta.
Abstract (english)
Physiotherapy rehabilitation is a key and unifying part of the treatment of patients with burns. Rehabilitation begins with admission to a health facility and ends in months, and sometimes years, after the beginning of therapy or it lasts until full return to activities of daily life. Burn rehabilitation requires a multidisciplinary team of experts who will provide the patient with treatments from the physical, psychological and social aspects. Given that burns can leave patients with significant contractures and scars that eventually lead to severe disability, early, individualized and continuous rehabilitation is of great importance. The goal of rehabilitation of burn patients is to reduce the occurrence of scars, contractures and secondary consequences, to increase the patient's functional abilities and to speed up the patient's recovery.
