Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad bavit će se Andrejom Tarkovskim, svjetskim poznatim i utjecajnim ruskim redateljom poznatom po svojim sporom tempu, dugačkim kadrovima i tematikama koje istražuju spiritualne i metafizičke tematike, popraćene sanjolikim stilom i elementima snova i sjećanja. Istražit će život Andreja Tarkovskog, njegovo školovanje, utjecaji, motivacija za režisiranje filmova, a također će se istražiti i analizirati njegov utjecaj na svjetsku kinematografiju. Putem analize kinematografije ovog redatelja, ovaj diplomski rad prikazat će na koji način je Andrej Tarkovski napravio revoluciju u filmu te kako je utjecao na buduće naraštaje redatelja, no s druge strane, pokazat će zašto njegovi filmovi nisu bili u centru pažnje kao što su to bili filmovi ostalih redatelja.
Abstract (english)
This thesis will focus on Andrei Tarkovsky, a world-renowned and influential Russian director known for his slow pace, long shots, and themes that explore spiritual and metaphysical topics, accompanied by a dreamlike style and elements of dreams and memories. It will investigate the life of Andrei Tarkovsky, his education, influences, motivation for directing films, and will also explore and analyze his influence on other cinema. Through the analysis of this director's cinematography, this thesis will show how Andrei Tarkovsky revolutionized film and how he influenced future generations of directors, but on the other hand, it will also show why his films were not in the spotlight as much as the films of other directors.
