Abstract Unatoč tome što ima više žena nego muškaraca na svijetu, u gospodarstvu su one manjina, ali baš svugdje u svijetu. Ovaj manjinski status žena u gospodarstvu je različit zbog poslova koje žene obavljaju. Uočeno je kako, uz to što se manje žena odlučuje za pokretanje poduzetničkih pothvata, malo njih pokreće tehnološki intenzivne poslovne pothvate, a i zamijećen je manjinski status u području upravljačkih poslova koji će se podrobnije opisati u radu. Uzgred tome, neki pojedinci su diskriminaciju žena shvatili kao ozbiljan problem te je sad povećan broj organizacija, tribina, seminara, pokreta, ženskih udruga i institucija u korist žena i velika pažnja i trud se ulažu u suzbijanje diskriminacije spolova. Kako bi se povećalo zapošljavanje žena osnivaju se fondovi te se odvijaju projekti, a sve u svrhu kako bi se potaknulo zapošljavanje žena. Žene unatoč tome što obavljaju velik dio posla u svijetu, privređuju jako malo unutar svjetskog dohotka. Glavni hend ikep koji se ženama pripisuje jest nepovjerenje prema njima te nedorečenost zakonodavne strukture kao pretpostavke za snažniji razvoj poduzetništva. Danas je zahvaljujući brojnim udrugama povećana svijest o potrebi uvođenja žena u poslovni svijet te im se omogućuje pokretanje poduzetničkog pothvata iako i dalje postoje neke prepreke kao što je banka koja bi im trebala odobriti kredit, a koju bi trebalo upoznati kako je riječ o jednako vrijednom klijentu kao što su i muškarci. Žene kad se pronađu u takvoj krizi, jednostavno posežu za mjerama samozapošljavanja, stoga im je potrebno osigurati pomoć u tom segmentu. U Republici Hrvatskoj je i dalje vidljiva razlika između muškaraca i žena u poduzetništvu, tako da unatoč brojkama koje su se godinama popravljale u korist žena, još uvijek su prisutne prepreke koje je potrebno savladati. Neki pokazatelji prikazuju da je pozitivna stavka to što je Republika Hrvatska ušla u Europsku uniju tako da su i nametnute stavke od strane vrhovnih tijela, a sve u cilju bolje slike Europe što se tiče zapošljavanja žena. U radu će biti obrađena kompletna problematika ženskog poduzetništva te će biti prikazani primjeri dobre prakse u Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english) Despite the fact that there are more women than men in the world, in economy they are minority in every part of the world. This minority status of women in economy is different according to the jobs they do. It is noticed how, with the fact that very few women take action in entrepreneurship, very few of them take action in intensive technological business projects. It is also noticed the minority status in field of management which will be further discussed in this work. There are some individuals who took discrimination of women as a serious issue so there is increased number of organisations, public discussions, seminars, campaigns, female associations and institutions who work on resolving this issue, beneficial to women. There are lot of actions and effort towards repression of gender discrimination. Also, there are lots of funds and projects oriented to increase employment of women. Despite the fact that women do a whole lot of work in the world, their income compared to the total world income is low. Main disadvantage often ascribed to women is the lack of trust towards them and undefined legal structures as assumptions to stronger development of entrepreneurship. Thanks to a lot of associations there is increased awareness of need to implement women in the business world and it is made possible for them to take business actions. There are still some obstacles in this matter such as bank who should provide loans to them and who should be aware that female clients are worth the same as men clients do. Found in this crisis, women often take business actions such as self-employment, so help should be provided in this part also. In Republic of Croatia difference between men and women in entrepreneurship is still noticeable so there are still some obstacles that needs to be overcome despite the numbers that grew in last couple of years in favour of women. Some indicators show positive results after Croatia entered European Union all because of actions from legislative institutions. Those action had goals to improve European image of female employment. In this work entire issue of female entrepreneurship will be elaborated and also some positive examples in Croatian practise will be presented.
