Rapid growth and development of ICT enabled corporate communications to become the centre of focus of modern organizations which operate in the global and turbulent business environments. Corporations are losing the dominant role in the flow of information, which is nowadays in the hands of their public. The main goal of corporate communications today is constructing the image and good reputation of the organization. The phenomena of social network websites in the last ten years have entered human lives and have changed the ways of communication. A social network website LinkedIn was primarily created for the business users which were able to make connections on LinkedIn, educate themselves, look for a job or employ high quality workers. LinkedIn is getting more and more attention even in Croatia, especially in privately owned companies. This paper is divided in four chapters, not including the introduction and conclusion. The first chapter of the paper explains the basic theoretical principles of communication and organization, and the second chapter discusses corporate communications, with emphasis on its importance in organization as the key factor in the process of building the image of the organization. The third chapter clarifies the role of ICT in corporate communications, and the fourth chapter represents research of usage of LinkedIn in selected Croatian companies. The paper was written with the help of scientific literature, articles on the subject of research and online sources, and the main research instrument of the research LinkedIn in corporate communications was an online survey.
