Asthma is the leading children chronic disease in most developed countries and is a cause of the most significant amount of absenteeism in the school and one of the most common causes of (justifiable) hospitalization of students. The symptoms of "wheezing characterize it", shortness of air, chest tightness and cough and pain relief, whose intensity varies over a period. Any patient with uncontrolled or poorly controlled asthma should be further educated. Asthma School or Breathing School is an organized course for the education of people with respiratory illnesses during which basic knowledge about the disease and its monitoring. In Asthma School, patients introduce to essential facts about the nature of asthma, the proper mode of taking medication, proper breathing, coughing techniques and dietary measures; also they are getting introduced with the ways of self-care. A research was made in frameworks of this final work, carrying out a theme on "Parents' attitudes about asthma schools." The goal of the research was to find out how many parents were familiar with Asthma schools, whether they had attended Asthma school, and what impressions and benefits were after attending, and to find out why parents did not attend Asthma school. A total of 150 participants were in the study. The results showed that 15% of parents attended Asthma school with the child. Most participants did not attend the Asthma School because they did not get enough information on the benefits of Asthma School (40%) and they do not know where Schools placed in their environment (32%), but more than half of the participants (58%) is interested in attending Asthma School. Participants who attended the Asthma School with a child noted that there was an improvement in the health status of the child meaning Asthma Schools are useful both for children and parents.
