Transport is an important element, not only in logistics but also in everyday life. The goal of transport is to be as fast as possible with the least amount of distributional costs, and for that a modern infrastructure and connectivity are important. Traffic connectivity and a faster universal distributional network are the wish of every country, according to that the European Union is trying to connect its members and member candidates for a transport network that would connect the whole continent. Better traffic flow and betterment of relations between countries, aswell as better competition on the international market are a goal of continental connectivity. For that purpose the project of the Pan-european corridors was founded. As an introduction the pan-european corridors are detailed and the decisions that brought to their making aswell. The characteristics of the corridors very important from the length of their roads and railways to the places they go through. The building of the corridors demands financing and the more sources there are, the better. The corrdidors are very important for the economical growth of the EU aswell as for the countries they go through. 3 Pan-european corridors pass through Croatia, to be exact it’s the fifth, seventh and tenth corridors, aswell as the branches of the fifth and thenth corridors which can help better the traffic and economy of Croatia. The Pan-european corridors were integrated into the TEN-T network, those corridors also pass through the countries of western Europe, not the eastern and middle Europe and with that they help getting a better traffical connevtivity across the whole continent.
