Abstract
Cilj rada je opisati pametne gradove, njihov koncept i način funkcioniranja te gradsku logistiku teretnog prometa koja je ključna funkcija uspješnog grada. Potrebe potrošača se neprekidno mijenjaju i potrebno je zadovoljiti njihova očekivanja, pritom uzimajući u obzir i održivost gradskog okoliša. Novi će globalni trendovi iz temelja promijeniti paradigmu sektora logistike, a distribucija tereta postaje sve važnija za gradski život. Lokalne vlasti i tvrtke provode niz mjera i strategija kojima nastoje smanjiti zagušenje prometa i negativne utjecaje na okoliš. Isto tako razvijene su mnoge kampanje s ciljem poticanja ekološke svijesti i zdravog načina života. Kako bi se zadovoljila nova potražnja, akteri u sustavu moraju razumjeti kako se razvijaju nove tehnologije i prakse. Autonomna vozila, dostava dronovima te drugi suvremeni načini dostave robe igrati će važnu ulogu u stvaranju novih mogućnosti na tržištu.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to describe smart cities, their concept and way of functioning, and urban freight logistics, which is a key function of a successful city. Consumer needs are constantly changing and it is necessary to meet their expectations, while taking into account the sustainability of the urban environment. New global trends will fundamentally change the paradigm of the logistics sector, and cargo distribution is becoming increasingly important for city life. Local authorities and companies implement a number of measures and strategies that seek to reduce traffic congestion and negative environmental impacts. Many campaigns have also been developed with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and a healthy lifestyle. In order to meet new demand, actors in the system must understand how new technologies and practices are evolving. Autonomous vehicles, drone delivery and other modern ways of delivering goods will play an important role in creating new opportunities in the market.
