Agritourism as an emerging form of rustic and rural tourism creates an attractive offer characteristic for the rural area in which it takes place in primarily through its agricultural and secondarily through its tourism activity. Satisfying the ever more demanding tourist needs is achieved with outdoor activities, experiences that tourists can gain by participating and learning about agricultural production and the origin of tourist products, by offering an escape from everyday life and with the interpersonal approach of the hosts. With the onset of the COVID- 19 pandemic, the tourism market is facing a number of challenges, and so does the agritourism business. Due to the unavoidable measures introduced to reduce the spread of the virus, travelling, and by extension the flow of tourist has been reduced. Tourist rural family farms have been forced to focus their advertising and sales methods on online tools in order to continue attracting tourist demand to their facilities, products and services. Internet advertising can be carried out through various sources such as websites and social networks. How communication occurs with tourists has also been affected by the changes in the tourism market. Following this, the contents of online posts were also examined in the empirical part of the paper. Respondents through the empirical survey were offered questions from three thematic units: general information of the objects, the advertising means, and the contents of online posts. The respondents' answers have confirmed there are new challenges for advertising in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of internet sales, and the analysis of safety as the largest pull factor caused by the appearance of the pandemic.
