| Abstract | Mozak je najkompleksniji organ u ljudskom tijelu, nalazi se u lubanji, zaštićen je kostima i moždanim ovojnicama te je uronjen u cerebrospinalni tekućinu ili likvor. Hidrocefalus označava prekomjerno nakupljanje likvora u moždanim klijetkama koje se prošire potiskujući mozgovna tkiva te dolazi do oštećenja mozgovnih tkiva i moždanih funkcija. Prema klasičnoj teoriji o jednosmjernoj cirkulaciji likvora hidrocefalus nastaje zbog poremećaja u stvaranju i/ili u opticaju te u resorpciji istog. Najčešća podjela hidrocefalusa je na unutarnji i vanjski. Prema vremenu kad se javlja razlikujemo prirođeni i stečeni, a prema tlaku u lubanji hipertenzivni i normotenzivni. U podjeli koja je određena time da li postoji komunikacija komornog i subarahnoidnog prostora, razlikujemo nekomunicirajući (opstruktivni) i komunicirajući (neopstruktivni) hidrocefalus. Kod naglog povećanja intrakranijskog tlaka javljaju se nespecifični simptomi povišenog intrakranijskog tlaka, mučnina, povraćanje, glavobolje, usporenost, poteškoće u kretanju, gubitak koordinacije i ravnoteže, gubitak pamćenja, poremećaji vida, kvantitativni poremećaji svijesti, od somnolentnosti do kome. Normotenzivni hidrocefalus, kod kojeg je intrakranijski tlak normalan, karakteriziran je trijasom simptoma: demencija, inkontinencija i ataksija. Dijagnozu hidrocefalusa postavljamo na temelju kliničke slike, laboratorijskih pretraga i neuroradioloških snimaka. Kod opstruktivnog hidrocefalusa treba odstraniti uzrok opstrukcije ako je moguće. Ako je uzrok smanjena resorpcija likvora ili inoperabilna , višak likvora je potrebno odstraniti. To postižemo ugradnjom drenažnog sustava.
Medicinska sestra/tehničar provođenje zdravstvene njege prilagođava stanju pacijenta, težini simptoma te vrstama zahvata i postupaka koje će se provoditi u sklopu liječenja. Kompetentno planiranje procesa zdravstvene njege, postavljanje realnih i ostvarivih ciljeva, provođenje intervencija, uzimajući u obzir sva načela procesa zdravstvene njege, i evaluacija istih je najbolji način da se pacijentu pruži najbolja moguća skrb i samim time pridonese njegovom ozdravljenju. |
| Abstract (english) | The brain is the most complex organ in the human body, it is located in the skull, is protected by bones and meninges and is immersed in cerebrospinal fluid or cerebrospinal fluid. Hydrocephalus means an excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the cerebral ventricles, which expands and pushes the brain tissues, resulting in damage to the brain tissues and brain functions. According to the classic theory of one-way circulation of cerebrospinal fluid, hydrocephalus is caused by disturbances in its formation and/or circulation and resorption. The most common division of hydrocephalus is internal and external. According to the time when it occurs, we differentiate between congenital and acquired, and hypertensive and normotensive according to the pressure in the skull. In the division determined by whether there is communication between the ventricular and subarachnoid spaces, we distinguish between non-communicating (obstructive) and communicating (non-obstructive) hydrocephalus. With a sudden increase in intracranial pressure, non-specific symptoms of increased intracranial pressure appear, nausea, vomiting, headaches, slowness, difficulty in movement, loss of coordination and balance, memory loss, visual disturbances, quantitative disturbances of consciousness, from somnolence to coma. Normotensive hydrocephalus, in which the intracranial pressure is normal, is characterized by a triad of symptoms: dementia, incontinence and ataxia. We establish the diagnosis of hydrocephalus based on the clinical picture, laboratory tests and neuroradiological images. In obstructive hydrocephalus, the cause of the obstruction should be removed if possible. If the cause is reduced resorption of cerebrospinal fluid or is inoperable, excess cerebrospinal fluid must be removed. We achieve this by installing a drainage system.
The nurse/technician adapts the provision of health care to the patient's condition, the severity of the symptoms and the types of interventions and procedures that will be carried out as part of the treatment. Competent planning of the health care process, setting realistic and achievable goals, implementing interventions, taking into account all the principles of the health care process, and evaluating them is the best way to provide the patient with the best possible care and thereby contribute to his recovery. |
