Posture is a variable category that changes every time the activity changes. New changes in pregnancy can easily lead to excessive strain on any part of the body. During pregnancy, women experience a series of physiological and anatomical changes that allow their bodies to adapt to pregnancy, the growth and development of the child, and to prepare for childbirth. Several important musculoskeletal changes occur during pregnancy. As a result of the weight increasement and growth of the fetus during pregnancy, there are mainly changes in posture, joints and muscles. The center of gravity moves up above the pelvis. A shift in the center of gravity reduces the sense of balance and therefore there is a greater risk of falling. By adapting the musculoskeletal system to pregnancy, the posture of the body changes. Pain in the lower spine is caused by all these changes that occur throughout the body during pregnancy. Muscular changes are most pronounced in the muscles of the pelvic floor and rectus abdominis, which support the weight of the uterus and fetus. Exercise programs during pregnancy must be planned on an individual basis. Most importantly, when planning the duration and intensity of exercise appropriate for each pregnant woman, it is also important to understand the physiology of pregnancy and birth before planning to prevent possible complications. Before creating a program and exercise plan, it is necessary to perform an evaluation of pregnant women, which should take into account all possible medical and gynecological risks for pregnant women.
