Project management as the basis of company operations is used more and more in companies all over the world. For this reason, project managers are increasingly in demand among employers. Since more and more companies are turning to the project business type, it is necessary to determine norms and guidelines that will give companies a common language for project managment. The ISO 21500 standard gives us all the necessary guidelines for easier project management and easier communication with other project-driven companies. In addition to the ISO 21500 norm, it is also highly desirable to implement Lean principles such as Kaizen and 5S in the company's operations. The paper presents three examples from a real company. An example of project management in a real company is presented, according to which the application of the ISO 21500 standard can be seen in real conditions. Along with an example of project management, an example of applying the Kaizen method in a real company is presented. Finally, an example of procurement planning according to the forecast is shown.
