Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje primjenu FreeCAD-a, CAD alata otvorenog koda, za optimizaciju industrijskih prototipa poput laboratorijskog stola i pokretne trake. Cilj rada bio je prikazati kako se putem makronaredbi i Python skriptiranja mogu automatizirati procesi dizajniranja i prilagodbe modela. FreeCAD je korišten za izradu 3D prototipa laboratorijskog stola i pokretne trake, dok su Python skripte omogućile optimizaciju dimenzija i funkcionalnosti. Optimizacija laboratorijskog stola... More uključivala je prilagodbu dimenzija gornje ploče i nogu, dok je optimizacija pokretne trake bila složenija, zahtijevajući prilagodbu dimenzija U profila, izradu rupa za valjke te određivanje njihovog broja i rasporeda. Rezultati pokazuju da kombinacija FreeCAD-a i Python skripti pruža visoku razinu prilagodljivosti i učinkovitosti u dizajnu, omogućujući brzu prilagodbu modela ovisno o specifičnim zahtjevima korisnika. Abstract (english)
This thesis explores the application of FreeCAD, an open-source CAD tool, for optimizing industrial prototypes such as tables and conveyor belts. The aim of the work was to demonstrate how macro commands and Python scripting can automate the processes of designing and customizing models. FreeCAD was used to create 3D models of the table and conveyor belt, while Python scripts enabled the optimization of dimensions and functionality. More dimensions of the top surface and legs, while the optimization of the conveyor belt was more complex, requiring adjustments to the dimensions of U profiles, the creation of holes for rollers, and determining their number and arrangement. The results show that the combination of FreeCAD and Python scripts provides a high level of flexibility and efficiency in design, allowing for rapid model adjustments based on specific user requirements.
