Multiple sclerosis is a chronic illness yet to the end of unclear etiology and treatment options. It is very important to improve the quality of life of patients. The aim of this study was to examine the quality of life of MS patients, to identify the factors that affect the quality of life of the affected person and to what extent the factors affect the quality of life. The anonymous questionnaire was filled out online through Google Apps. The resulting Excel files are converted to the SPSS file. Based on this SPSS file, all kinds of statistical analysis (SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 17.0) were performed while graphical displays were made using Microsoft Excel 2010. Anonymous questionnaire surveyed 70 respondents. The sample consisted of 15 men (21%) and 55 women (79%). These were people between 19 and 73 years of age. Patients with MS who were the subject of this study had prevalently high school qualifications (63%), mostly in the city (79%) and were married (67%). Variables in terms of sex, age, place of residence, degree of education and marital status of respondents do not show statistically significant differences. Although there is no drug for multiple sclerosis, effective ways to adjust the course of the disease, symptom management, improve functionality and safety, and provide emotional support are available. Taking a team together, the quality of life of the sick is increased, which is necessarily disrupted since the disease is one of the factors that almost affects the quality of life. The role of the nurses and the social environment is to provide maximum support, educating a person suffering from multiple sclerosis to be independent, self-reliant, and to assist in accepting a new state of affairs all with the aim of improving the quality of life and health.
