The nurse plays a major role in the care of patients with heart failure, and plays the role of an educator. Education is an important part in the treatment of these diseases, and it has an impact not only on the patient, but also on his family and immediate environment. In the field of nursing, research is carried out every day on the topic of caring for patients with heart failure, but there is still a lot of room for progress and for research in many areas. In this paper, a meta-analysis of works on the topic of care for patients with heart failure was carried out and includes works on research in the field of nursing and the care of patients with heart failure. The goal was to check whether research is being conducted in the field of nursing on the topic of heart decompensation, and to what extent and to what exactly it relates. The literature on the topic of education of patients with heart decompensation was also researched, considering that this is one of the important points in the treatment and care of patients with decompensation. The meta-analysis showed that there is a lot of research in the field of nursing on the topic of caring for patients with heart decompensation, that problems in providing care for such patients are presented, but no solutions and suggestions are given for improving medical care for patients. Education is one of the most important segments in the care of patients with heart decompensation, and many researches are carried out in this area, which are well-conceived, functional and comprehensive in theory, but are poorly or not at all applied in practice.
