The idea of this thesis is to use the "Design thinking" method to recognize and define the requirements and challenges of competitors or recreational users who need a prosthesis for skiing and other sports activities. Based on these requirements, several ideas will be generated, from which the idea with the most potential will be determined according to a certain number of parameters. The ideas will serve as the basis for the creation of a 3D prototype that will be designed as part of the Autodesk Inventor software tool. The major part of the thesis is related to a detailed description of the process and each phase of the design - from gathering the necessary information, dimensioning the components of the assembly and finally creating a 3D model. In addition to the "Prototype 3D Modeling" course itself, knowledge from other courses will be applied. For example, an overview of the materials that can be used and which are currently leaders in the industry, and the review of production procedures that would be used to make the product itself. The focus is on additive technologies, wherever possible. The reason for this is that with them one of the main requirements of this type of product can be achieved extremely precisely. That is personalization - performance adjustment for each user separately. Ultimately, by adjusting several parameters, the model will be able to further optimize and adapt to various requirements.
