Testicular tumours are developed in seminal epithelium and constitute 1% of the total number of diseased men. The disease is of unknown aetiology; high incidence of disease is found in the affected members of the same family or twins. It may be caused by some chemical factors, inflammation, trauma and it occurs in patients with testicular kriptohiza. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate nursing care provided to patient suffering from testicular tumours, as well as to present a case through the process of healthcare. Recognised problems in healthcare of the patient are: pain, insomnia, high risk of infection, reduced food intake. Nursing care throughout history was developing based on providing aid to a helpless, sick or wounded individual. In recent years, nursing care consists of planning and documenting healthcare. Documenting emphasises the importance of healthcare planning. Derived information forms basis for improving the quality of work and better organisation and nursing care for patients .
