Abstract
Svaku robu, koju se planira staviti u promet, mora se zaštititi od nepovoljnih vanjskih utjecaja na način koji će spriječiti njezino rasipanje i omogućiti joj siguran transport do krajnjeg potrošača, a da pri tome sačuva njezinu kvalitetu. Iako se ambalaža smatra prvim vizualnim kontaktom s potrošačima te se zbog toga stavlja naglasak na „oku ugodno“, u današnjem suvremenom svijetu sve više se pridaje pozornost i utjecaju iste na okoliš. Slobodno možemo reći da krilatica „ambalaža prodaje proizvod“ dolazi do izražaja u svakom smislu, od njezinog izgleda, praktičnosti, kvalitete pa sve do završnog ciklusa u prirodi – razgradnji ili reciklaži. Bez kvalitetne ambalaže u suvremenom svijetu nema kvalitetnih proizvoda, za što se pobrinulo i zakonodavstvo.

Each commodity, which is planned to put into circulation, must be protected from adverse exteral influences in a way that will prevent its wastage and allow her safe transport to the consumer, while at the same preserving its quality. Although the packaging is considered as the first visual contact with consumers and therefore emphasizes the "eye pleasing", in today's modern world more and more attention is paid to the impact of the same on the environment. We can safely say that the buzz word "packaging sells the product" comes to the fore in every sense, from its appearance, practicality, quality all the way to the final cycle in nature - decommissioning or recycling. Without quality packing in the modern world there is no high-quality products, for what is certain and legislation.
