Abstract
Diplomski rad istražuje tematiku obnovljivih izvora energije, odnosno koje su vrste obnovljivih izvora energije, njihove prednosti, ali i nedostaci, te koji je njihov značaj u daljnjem razvoju i zaštiti okoliša kako u Hrvatskoj tako i u Europskoj uniji, sve u kontekstu odnosa s javnostima. Osim toga teorijski dio diplomskog rada odnosi se na održivi razvoj i društveno odgovorno poslovanje, točnije povijest razvoja društveno odgovornog poslovanja i održivog razvoja, te što je sve utjecalo na pojavu mišljenja o takvom načinu poslovanja. Također navedene su i neke najvažnije teorijske misli koje se javljaju unutar ovog područja, kako one utječu na korporacije i njihovo ponašanje, ali i na ostatak ekonomije. Posljednji dio teorijskog dijela odnosi se na poglavlje reputacije u kojem je opisano što je sve važno za poslovni subjekt kako bi se stvorila pozitivna slika o poslovnom subjektu. Svaka dobra reputacija je uspjeh za poslovni subjekt. Istraživanje ovog diplomskog rada odnosi se na HEP, odnosno ponudu HEPovih proizvoda ZelEn i Elen, što zapravo znači da svako poduzeće koje brine o društveno odgovornom poslovanju kupuje električnu energiju dobiveno isključivo od obnovljivih izvora energije. Za istraživanje će se uzeti neki određeni vremenski period u kojem će se analizirati određeni broj novinskih članaka iz nezavisnih medija, te će se tako vidjeti učinci ovih proizvoda i kako zapravo utječu na reputaciju HEP-a.

Thesis explores the topic of renewable energy, respectively types of renewable energy sources, their advantages and disadvantages, and what is their significance in the further development and environmental protection both in Croatia and in the European Union, all in the context of corporate social responsibility. The theoretical part of thesis also relates to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, history of the development, and what had the impact on the occurrence of thinking about such a way of doing business. Also, in thesis are listed some of the most important theoretical thoughts that occur within this area, as they affect corporations and their behavior, but also their effect on the rest of the economy. The last part of the theory refers to the reputation, in which, it’s described how important reputation for businesses is to create a positive image of the business entity. Every good reputation is the success of a business entity. Research of this thesis relates to the HEP and their products offer, ZelEn and Elen, which means that any company that cares about social responsibility buys electricity derived exclusively from renewable energy sources. Study will take a certain period of time in which it will be analyzed a number of newspaper articles from the independent media, and will also see the effects of this products and how they actually affects the reputation of HEP.
