Abstract
Rad je ljudska aktivnost koja stvara novu vrijednost, ali i daje ljudima poziciju u društvu, samopotvrđivanje i samopouzdanje. Bez rada nema napretka u nijednoj zajednici, bez rada nema blagodati civilizacije. Radom dokazujemo svoj doprinos zajednici kao vrijednog i korisnog člana. Osobe s invaliditetom čine gotovo desetinu populacije u našoj državi, a njihovo zapošljavanje predstavlja problem kako njima, tako i sustavu. Njihovo ravnopravno uključivanje u zajednicu trajalo je dugo i često su bili brutalno gurnuti izvan zajednice. Otprilike od polovice prošlog stoljeća počinje njihovo intenzivnije uključivanje u zajednicu. Donesen je niz pravnih akata kojima se daje pravo na rad osobama s invaliditetom. Bez obzira na propise i akte koji su usvojeni od svih država s parlamentarnom demokracijom, zapošljavanje osoba s invaliditetom nije nigdje zaživjelo u punoj mjeri, već to najčešće ovisi o stupnju gospodarske razvijenosti. Mijenjanje stavova u društvu mijenja i stavove u poslovanju tako da nije više jedini cilj tvrtke financijska dobit već dobit kroz različite načine mora dijeliti šira zajednica. Takav oblik rada naziva se društveno odgovorno poslovanje, a jedan od ciljeva je uključivanje marginalnih skupina u rad. Za ovaj rad napravljena su tri istraživanja u kojima su istraživani stavovi poslodavaca prema zapošljavanju osoba s invaliditetom te doživljaj kvalitete života zaposlenih i nezaposlenih osoba s invaliditetom.

Work is a human activity that creates new value. It also gives people a position in the society, self-assertion, and self-confidence. Without labor, there is no progress in any community. If there is no work, there is no benefit to the civilization. With work ,we prove our contribution to the community, as a valuable and useful member. Persons with disabilities make nearly a tenth of the population in our country. The unemployment is a problem for them, and for the country. Their inclusion in the community depends on it. Since the last half of the century their involvement in the community has been intensified. There are series of legal acts which gives the rights to work for people with disabilities. Regardless of the regulations and laws that have been adopted by all states with parliamentary democracy, the employment of the people with disabilities doesn't always happen and it mostly depends on the level of economic development. Changing attitudes in the society will change attitudes in the business so financial gain is no longer the only goal for the company but there are gains for the wider community. This form of operation is referred to as corporate social responsibility, and one of the objectives is to include marginal groups in operation. For this thesis three studies are conducted which investigated the attitudes of employers towards hiring persons with disabilities and experience of the quality of life of employed and unemployed persons with disabilities.
