Abstract
Motivacija zaposlenika je veliki problem današnjeg menadžmenta, i bitan je čimbenik za dobro obavljanje posla. Svrha ovog rada je pojasniti motivaciju za rad pojedinaca u organizaciji, a posebice u državnoj službi. Najvažnija činjenica jest da osoba koja ima zadatak motivirati zaposelnika ne promatra motivaciju sa svojeg stajališta, već sa stajališta tog pojedinca kojeg želi motivirati. Ta osoba mora uočiti koji su to motivatori, odnosno potrebe, želej i ciljevi te ga ispunjavanjem tih faktora motivirati da zauzvrat na svojem radnom mjestu daje sve od sebe.

Employee motivation is the big issue of today's management, and is an important factor for a good job. The purpose of this paper is to explain the motivation for the work of individuals in the organization, particulary in the civil service. The most important fact is that the person who has the task of motivating employees does not look at motivation from his point of view, but from the standpoint of the individual who wants to motivate. This person must perceive motivators respecting neeeds, desires and goals, and by fulfilling these factors motivate them to do their best on workplace.
