Abstract Adolescenti prolaze kroz biološke, fizičke i psihosocijalne promjene uključujući i doživljavanje svoje seksualnosti. Seksualnost je veoma bitan dio adolescencije i u njoj postoji puno istraživanja koje može dovesti do rizičnog spolnog ponašanja i njegovih posljedica. Spolno prenosive infekcije u porastu su među adolescentima i jedan su od najvećih javnozdravstvenih problema u svijetu. Medicinska sestra je aktivan član zajednice koji svojim radom i kompetencijama može doprinijeti podizanju svijesti o važnosti primarne prevencije u zdravstvu i promicanju samog zdravlja kroz razne edukacije zdrave populacije. Glavna uloga magistre sestrinstva je mogućnost kreiranja preventivne zdravstvene zaštite i kontrola procesa zdravstvene njege pružajući kvalitetnu i svima dostupnu sestrinsku skrb koja se temelji na dokazima. Jedan od prioritetnih ciljeva u promicanju i očuvanju spolnog i reproduktivnog zdravlja adolescenata, njihovih obitelji kao i cijele zajednice je pozitivan pristup seksualnosti, spolnom odgoju i obrazovanju koji se ne zasniva na osudama. Spolnost je sastavni dio ljudskog postojanja, stoga je od iznimne važnosti implementacija holističkog pristupa prilagođenog svim uzrastima u pružanju informacija, obrazovanja i odgoja. Ovo istraživanje ima za cilj analizirati razinu znanja i stavove adolescenata urbanih i ruralnih sredina o spolno prenosivim infekcijama.
U ovome istraživanju ispitati će se postoje li razlike u stupanju u spolne odnose s obzirom na spol adolescenata, ispitati će se postoje li razlike u znanju o spolno prenosivim infekcijama, ispitati će se postoje li razlike u znanju o metodama kontracepcije, ispitati će se postoje li razlike u mišljenjima o potrebi provođenja zdravstvenog odgoja u školama s obzirom na spol ispitanika.
Anketnim upitnikom putem Facebook grupe ''Maturanti 2021./2022. analizirano je znanje maturanata o spolno prenosivim infekcijama. Anketa je provedena putem online Google obrasca između 14.06. i 31.07.2022. godine, a sastojala se od 31 pitanja podijeljenog kroz 4 dijela. Anketna pitanja obuhvaćaju sociodemografske podatke, iskustvo u spolnim odnosima, pitanja o kontracepciji, znanju, stavovima i obrascima ponašanja adolescenata. Od sveukupno 270 ispitanika u istraživanju prevladava 85,2% ispitanika ženskog spola, a svega 14,8% ispitanika muškog spola. Najviše ispitanika je iz grada 58,1%. Najčešća dob stupanja u prvi spolni odnos je u dobi od 16-17 godina (24,4%), a kao metoda kontracepcije najčešće se koristi kondom (52,6%). Nakon prvog spolnog odnosa 68,4% ispitanica nije posjetilo ginekologa.
Najviše znanja o spolno prenosivim infekcijama adolescenti dobivaju iz medija i interneta (64,3%), a njih 70,1% smatra kako bi zdravstvenim odgojem dobili više znanja o spolno prenosivim infekcijama te se stoga odgovornije spolno ponašali.
Abstract (english) Adolescents go through biological, physical and psychosocial changes, including experiencing their sexuality. Sexuality is a very important part of adolescence and there is a lot of research into it that can lead to risky sexual behavior and its consequences. Sexually transmitted infections are on the rise among adolescents and are one of the biggest public health problems in the world. A nurse is an active member of the community who, with her work and competences, can contribute to raising awareness of the importance of primary prevention in healthcare and the promotion of health itself through various educations of the healthy population. The main role of the master's degree in nursing is the possibility of creating preventive health care and control of the health care process, providing high-quality evidence-based nursing care accessible to all. One of the priority goals in promoting and preserving the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents, their families as well as the entire community is a positive approach to sexuality, sexual education and education that is not based on judgments. Sexuality is an integral part of human existence, therefore it is extremely important to implement a holistic approach adapted to all ages in the provision of information, education and upbringing. This research aims to analyze the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents from urban and rural areas about sexually transmitted infections.
In this research, it will be examined whether there are differences in entering sexual relations with regard to the gender of adolescents, it will be examined whether there are differences in knowledge about sexually transmitted infections, it will be examined whether there are differences in knowledge about contraceptive methods, it will be examined whether there are differences in opinions about the need to implement health education in schools with regard to the gender of the respondents. A questionnaire via the Facebook group "Graduate students 2021/2022. the knowledge of high school graduates about sexually transmitted infections was analyzed. The survey was conducted via an online Google form between 14.06. and 31.07.2022. year, and consisted of 31 questions divided into 4 parts. Survey questions include sociodemographic data, experience in sexual relations, questions about contraception, knowledge, attitudes and behavior patterns of adolescents. Out of a total of 270 respondents in the research, 85.2% of respondents are female, and only 14.8% are male. Most respondents are from the city, 58.1%. The most common age of first sexual intercourse is at the age of 16-17 (24.4%), and the condom is most often used as a contraceptive method (52.6%). After the first sexual intercourse, 68.4% of the respondents did not visit a gynecologist. Adolescents get the most knowledge about sexually transmitted infections from the media and the Internet (64.3%), and 70.1% of them believe that through health education they would get more knowledge about sexually transmitted infections and therefore behave more responsibly sexually.
