Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu pod nazivom „Ustrojstvo Grada Varaždina“ željela bi objasniti kako funkcionira lokalna i područna (regionalna) samouprava, te približiti i objasniti način rada Gradske uprave Grada Varaždina, Gradskog vijeća Grada Varaždina i njegovih radnih tijela. Opisat ću sustav lokalne i područne (regionalne) samouprave, ustrojstvo Grada Varaždina, kako je Gradska uprava podijeljena na Upravne odjele i službe, a najviše ću se osvrnuti na Upravni odjel za poslove gradonačelnika i Gradskog vijeća, točnije na rad Gradskog vijeća koji djeluje u Gradu Varaždinu. Kroz istraživanje ću prikazati koliko građani grada Varaždina poznaju funkcioniranje Gradske uprave.
Abstract (english)
In this graduation thesis entitled "Constitution of the City of Varaždin", I would like to explain how the local and regional self-government function, and to approach and explain the operating way of the City Administration of Varaždin, the City Council of Varaždin and its working bodies. I will describe the system of the local and regional self - government, the constitution of the City of Varaždin, the division of the City Administration to Administrative Departments and Services, and most of all, I will refer to the Administrative Department for the City Mayor and City Council, more precisely to the work of the City Council working in the City of Varaždin. Through the survey I will show how many citizens of Varaždin know the functioning of the City Administration.
