Abstract
Lumbalna diskus hernija (LDH) jedan je od najčešćih razloga subakutne i kronične boli u području lumbosakralne kralježnice. Simptomi hernije diska mogu varirati od jedva primjetnih do kompleksnijih manifestacija simptoma, što ovisi o volumenu herniranog materijala. Najčešće ljudi posjećuju liječnika/fizioterapeuta kod kompleksnije simptomatologije kao što su radikularna bol, parestezije, mišićna slabost, smanjena pokretljivost i kvaliteta života itd. Dijagnostika se može provesti na temelju kliničke slike, određenim testovima i procjenom, dok se potvrđivanje može potvrditi uz pomoć dijagnostičkih aparata kao što su magnetna rezonanca, elektromiografija te elektromioneurografija. Liječenje ovog stanja može se provoditi konzervativnim ili kirurškim metodama, ovisno o kliničkoj slici pacijenta. U ovom radu opisane su najčešće korištene kirurške metode liječenja hernije diska, kao i tipična fizikalna terapija i rehabilitacija osoba s LDH uz pobliže opisane suvremene metode liječenja istog – dekompresijska i manualna terapija, akupunktura te terapija ozonom.
Abstract (english)
Lumbar disc herniation (LDH) is one of the common causes of subacute and chronic pain in lumbosacral area. The symthoms of a herniated disc can vary from barely noticable to more complex manifestations – which depends on the volume of the herniated material. People visit a doctors/physiotherapiests for more complex sympthoms such as radicular pain, paresthesias, muscle weakness, reduced mobility and quality of life etc. Diagnosis can be carried out on the basis of the clinical picture, certain tests and assessment, while confirmation can be confirmed with the help of diagnostic devices such as MR, EMG, EMNG. Treatment of this condition can be carried out by conservative or surgical methods, depending on the clinical picture. This paper describes the most commonly used surgical methods of disc herniation treatment, as well as typical physical therapy and rehabilitation of the people with LDH along with a detailed description of modern methods of treating - decompression and manual therapy, acupuncture and ozone therapy.
