This final paper presents the transport of goods by road, how and in what way it is performed. It covers related concepts such as logistics, its history and the goals and tasks of logistics. Logistics systems, division of logistics systems and logistics processes and its parts are explained. The second part of the paper describes the transport of goods by road. Definition of transport of goods and division into internal and external transport. Vehicles used in the transport of goods by road, trailers and all data related to them, such as the maximum permissible mass, permissible dimensions and axle load, are described. Also, attention is focused on all the processes that the product goes through during production. The flow of products is monitored, from raw materials to the finished product with the help of transporting goods by road to our homes or wholesale and retail stores. With the development of logistics, transport and the infrastructure used by transport, logistics centers are being developed in parallel. Equipped with modern equipment, professional staff and information systems, they fulfill some of their main tasks, such as efficient supply and meeting customer needs. We are familiar with several types of logistics centers, but they all share common functions such as warehousing and taking care of goods. .
