This paper is divided into theoretical and practical part of the work. In the theoretical part, the basic structural features of large arched bridges in Croatia are presented. The theoretical part includes general information about the construction, the construction method and a comparison with buildings of a similar range but of a different type. In the practical part of the work, the project of a smaller reinforced concrete arch bridge over the valley was made. The main assembly is an arch, and the over-arch assembly is continuous, a support over five fields, with a ribbed cross-section. The bridge over the obstacle translates the national road with footpaths. The paper contains a technical description, basic static calculation of the span assembly, dimensioning of the most loaded cross-sections of the span assembly, layout drawings of the bridge and a sketch of the arch reinforcement, as well as a cost list of the works.
