Abstract Tema diplomskog rada je izrada privjesaka za ključeve pomoću 3D tiska za potrebe Sveučilišta u Zadru. Rad pruža detaljan opis cijelog procesa izrade privjesaka za ključeve, počevši od dizajniranja u programu za 3D modeliranje kao što je Blender, gdje je prikazan proces kreiranja modela, uključujući odabir odgovarajućih alata i tehnika u softveru. Nakon dizajna, opisuje se priprema modela za 3D ispis u programu za pripremu tzv. slicing, koji omogućuje segmentiranje modela radi optimizacije ispisa. Dalje se opisuje sam proces 3D ispisa i priprema samog 3D pisača za ispis, uključujući kalibraciju pisača kako bi se osigurala kvalitetna izrada. Na kraju je opisana završna obrada modela kako bi se postigla željena estetika. Osim opisa izrade privjesaka za ključeve, rad se bavi i 3D ispisom općenito, obrađuje pojedinosti vezane za 3D ispis, uključujući povijest, različite tehnike, opis različitih materijala i softvera te primjene 3D ispisa u raznim industrijama. Cilj ovog rada je upoznati populaciju s tehnikom 3D ispisa i postupkom 3D ispisa kroz različite primjere, primjene, informacije te samim primjerom izrade privjeska za ključeve. Na kraju rada, provedena je anketa kako bi se istražila razina informiranosti o 3D ispisu među ispitanicima te ocijenila uspješnost izrade privjesaka za ključeve. Rad ima za cilj približiti tehniku 3D ispisa široj publici, pružajući detaljan uvid u svaki korak procesa i različite informacije vezane za 3D ispis.
Abstract (english) The topic of the diploma thesis is the creation of key chains using 3D printing for the needs of the University of Zadar. The paper provides a detailed description of the entire process of making key chains, starting with designing in a 3D modeling program such as Blender, where the model creation process is presented, including the selection of appropriate tools and techniques in the software. After the design, the preparation of the model for 3D printing is described in the so-called preparation program. slicing, which allows segmentation of the model to optimize printing. Next, the 3D printing process itself and the preparation of the 3D printer itself for printing, including the calibration of the printer to ensure quality production, are described. Finally, the finishing of the model is described in order to achieve the desired aesthetics. In addition to describing the creation of key chains, the paper also deals with 3D printing in general, covering details related to 3D printing, including history, different techniques, description of different materials and software, and applications of 3D printing in various industries. The aim of this work is to familiarize the public with the 3D printing technique and the 3D printing process through various examples, applications, information and the very example of making a keychain. At the end of the work, a survey was conducted in order to investigate the level of information about 3D printing among the respondents and to evaluate the success of the creation of key chains. The work aims to bring the 3D printing technique closer to a wider audience, providing a detailed insight into each step of the process and various information related to 3D printing.
