The aim of the final work is to make a CNC milling machine with which it will be possible to process wooden objects and aluminum parts for various machines. In order to reduce vibrations that can be harmful to machining parts, it is necessary to make a solid construction. In order for such a solid and heavy construction to move without difficulty, very powerful NEMA 34 stepper motors and ball threaded rods with a diameter of 20 mm are used to convert circular motion into linear motion. The milling machine used in the work is a 2.2 kW ER20 milling machine that can use milling cutters with a diameter of 1mm to 13mm. The milling machine has the possibility of using several different types of clamping devices, such as pulleys or clamping plates. The vise is used to clamp metal pieces for machining, and the clamping board is used to clamp large-area wooden boards. The standard unspecified industrial tolerance is ± 0.2mm, but the tolerance of the machine shown does not have to be that much. Acceptable tolerance is ± 0.5mm.
